Project description

The Future Mobility Lab project focuses on the development and implementation of fraud detection systems. Innovative solutions were developed to detect and prevent fraud in the ticketing system, particularly in the context of the Deutschland-Ticket and passenger rights. The project uses modern machine learning algorithms and data analysis methods to identify suspicious transactions and optimize the processes of Germany’s largest private mobility provider.

Project goals

  • Development and implementation of an ML-based fraud detection system
  • Optimization of data entry and collection processes for improved data quality
  • Creation of interactive dashboards for the visualization and analysis of fraud patterns
  • Integration of fraud detection into the existing IT infrastructure using AWS
  • Standardization of the reimbursement process to reduce fraud risks
